Uniform should be purchased online via Beats School Uniforms
All pupils are expected to wear school uniform. The staff and governors believe it gives the school an identity and encourages the children to take pride in both their appearance and their school.
Winter Uniform
A royal blue sweatshirt/cardigan showing the school logo
A white polo shirt or school shirt/blouse with or without the school logo
A grey skirt or grey school trousers
Grey or black tights or white socks (black or grey socks may also be worn under trousers)
Black school shoes (not trainers):
- KS1 - velcro
- KS2 - velcro or laces
Additional Summer Uniform (optional)
Blue gingham checked dress/skirt/blouse
Grey short tailored school shorts
PE kit
White PE shirt with school logo
Blue or black shorts
Blue tracksuit bottoms
Trainers
Socks
Blue PE bag
Children should not wear any part of their school uniform for P.E., this includes tights. If a child is wearing tights, a pair of socks will be required for P.E.
Reception Children

Jewellery and hair accessories.
Jewellery should not be worn to school except for the following exceptions:
- Watches (not smart watches or watches that can take photos)
- Small studs for pierced ears
- Jewellery of religious or medical significance.
Children with hair longer than shoulder length should wear it tied back for school. Hair accessories should be discreet and in school colours.

Second hand School Uniform
Our Parent Association (Friends of Monksmead) holds regular second hand uniform sales. Please contact the school for further details.
